Technically I am on the books as an author with Hachette.

It took less than 2 months to have my first book, 'The Joy of English', accepted for publication. (This was only after I gave up looking for an agent.) That first book came out in traditional form in 2011 and I had a proper book on sale in proper shops.

A global publisher then acquired my small publisher. And then it changed hands again. And we pretty much lost contact.

Since that first book, I have written 10 more. I have had interest from publishers for various books but nothing ever came of it.

So far I have published them myself. Unagented, without a publisher.
